PHS Membership

The Society operates a small trading store, for members, with a stock of regularly used gardening products such as composts, fertilisers, pest control products, flower pots and a small range of garden tools. Larger gardening items may be ordered. In the spring, discounted purchase of Sutton seeds and other products is available.

Membership is currently £3.00 per year.

The Trading Store is next to the Purley Memorial Hall in Glebe Road and is open from 10:00 to 11:00 every Saturday during the months February to October and additionally on Wednesday evenings between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, from April to June. Please feel free to look in any time we are open.  The Trading Store is currently not open on a Sunday.

For those with an hour to spare we are always looking for volunteers to help us man (or woman) the Trading Store. If you can spare an hour on a Saturday to help in the Trading Store please contact Margaret, our Membership Secretary, on 0118 9417247.

Membership of the Society costs £3.00 a year, you can join at the Trading Store during opening hours, and your membership card may be used to get discounts at various gardening suppliers including Englefield Garden Centre and Collins Hardware in Pangbourne.  Members may also borrow the Society's RHS card which provides entry for one member and one adult guest to any of the RHS gardens at a 30% reduction on normal adult entry rate.
